Dubbed the “Ambassador of American Song,” Thomas Hampson joins the Library of Congress to celebrate American song through a special concert program and accompanying exhibit. The repertoire includes music from the 1700s to the present day, ranging from Psalm settings and hymns, folksongs and cowboy songs, to war songs and African American spirituals.
