The 39 Steps

Adaptor Patrick Barlow has dusted off Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 spy thriller, The 39 Steps, and reinvented it for the 21st century. With four malleable actors playing more than 150 roles, the film noir gem has been retooled into a hilarious comedy that manages to be faithful to the movie. Whether or not they have seen the film, virtuoso performances and dazzling, inventive stagecraft promises to have audiences rolling in the aisles.

The House of the Spirits

A haunting and lyrical adaptation of Isabel Allende’s critically-acclaimed bestseller, The House of the Spirits, looks at four generations of political, social and familial upheaval through the powerful lens of memory. In this vibrant family saga set in Latin America, unforgettable characters tell a story filled with music, romance and violence.

Tap Dogs
September 21-26
The international sensation – Tap Dogs – is back and ready to leave dents on stages all across North America. Created by Olivier Award-winning choreographer Dein Perry, with a construction site set by designer/director Nigel Triffitt, and a driving score by composer Andrew Wilkie, Tap Dogss is a rough, tough, rocking theatrical entertainment. Winner of 11 International Awards, Tap Dogs premiered at the Sydney Theatre Festival, moved on to London and New York, and has been a howling success all across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Grease
October 12-17
Grease, by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, is the all-American musical based on the sub-cultures of high-school life in the 1950s. The show takes place in the hyperactive Rydell High School where Danny Zuko fronts his gang who romance their sassy female equivalents, the Pink Ladies. When “good girl” Sandy Dumbrowski arrives in town, the Pink Ladies take her under their collective wing.

Reckless

Run away in the middle of the night with some strange man who would ruin your reputation and make you really happy. I think we get these ideas from rock ‘n’ roll songs.”

Shrek
November 16-28
Shrek The Musical, based on the Oscar-winning Dreamworks film that started it all, brings the hilarious story of everyone’s favorite ogre to life on the Broadway stage. A Midsummer Night’s Dream

The 7 Fingers (Les 7 doigts de la main) is an astonishingly talented French Canadian company that has pioneered a whole new brand of theatrical entertainment.
