Colorado Symphony Orchestra
Enriching the souls of music lovers of all ages with an 80-plus year legacy of symphonic music, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra makes the Rocky Mountain region an exciting place to live, work and raise families. Established in 1989 as the successor to the Denver Symphony, the CSO is the region’s only full-time professional orchestra. The CSO embraces a tradition of musical excellence by presenting a wide variety of symphonic performances. Performances range from classical repertoire to innovative new forms involving rock legends and pop stars.
Boettcher Concert Hall
Boettcher Concert Hall is located in the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Situated on a four-block, 12-acre site, the complex is the largest arts center in the world, featuring 10 performance spaces connected by an 80-foot-tall glass roof.
With 80 percent of the 2,634 seats within 65 feet of the stage, Boettcher Concert Hall is the nation’s first symphony hall in the round designed to place the audience close to the stage in a unique environment.
Through the Better Denver Initiative approved by voters in 2007, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra can look forward to a major renovation of Boettcher Concert Hall.
